2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to SoccerPrediction.com, user accounts, free and PRO features, credits, payments, email communication, support, filters, strategies, alerts and AI features. The website is not intended for processing special categories of personal data; please do not submit such data to us.

3. Data we process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process your first and last name, email address, login credentials in protected form, activation and reset codes, language and account preferences, membership status, credits, saved filters and strategies, alerts, support communication and content submitted to AI features.

Technical data may be generated automatically, including IP address, request date and time, device and browser type, session identifiers, cookies, security logs and application logs. For payments, we mainly process transaction status and customer, subscription or payment identifiers; complete payment-card details are processed by the payment provider.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to create and manage accounts, deliver requested features, activate PRO access and credits, handle payments, secure the service, prevent fraud, provide support, communicate and operate the website. The legal bases are primarily performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, our legitimate interests in secure and reliable operation, compliance with legal obligations and consent where required.

If you do not provide data required for an account, payment or requested feature, we may be unable to provide it. Football predictions and AI explanations do not constitute automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on users.

5. Recipients and service providers

Where necessary, data may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers, email services, the Stripe payment service, AI providers when AI features are used, analytics or cookie providers where enabled, and our professional advisers. We may also disclose data to public authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use an applicable transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, and supplementary safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

7. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for sessions, login, security, language and preferences. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only where enabled and where required consent has been obtained. 8. Retention and security

We retain data while an account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal obligations, claims, accounting, security and abuse prevention. Activation and reset codes are time-limited, while logs and backups are rotated. When the relevant period ends, data is deleted or anonymised.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, protected transmission and hashed password storage. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have rights to information and access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. 10. Complaints, children and changes

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or the authority in your country of habitual residence. The service is not directed specifically at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children who cannot validly consent or enter into a contract under applicable law.
